Since 2006 Matteo della Bordella he became a member of the Ragni di Lecco and two years later the Italian Academic Alpine Club (CAAI). In 2008 and 2009 he won the Cassin Prize for the mountaineering category: in 2008 for the Coelophysis route established with Fabio Palma in Wendenstùcke, and in 2009 for the expedition to Greenland.
